We Are at a Turning Point: Presently in America, nearly half of all households receive either a salary or substantial benefits from the government. Presently in America, nearly half of all adults pay no federal income taxes. Presently in America, the half that pay no income taxes receive the bulk of their income courtesy of the government, but ultimately from the half that do. This money is extracted involuntarily from the paying half by a permanent bureaucracy that extracts and gives away more each year no matter who is running the government. The recipients of these transfer payments rely upon them for subsistence, so they have a vested financial interest in sending to Washington those who will continue to take your money and give it to them…
Here is how you can tell that these are bad days for freedom: Does the government need your permission to violate your rights, or do you need the government's permission to exercise them? The answer is painfully obvious.
As Hope Shrieks Away Because We Have an Ideologue rather than Leader: In every decade since 1950, progressives have been sounding the retreat world wide. Far from ushering in age of hope and change, Obama can be more rightly seen as the last stand of rigid ideologues who think they can make the world conform to their wishes rather than to its nature- “a cry for help—our last shriek on the retreat,” that William H. Seward once warned about… It’s explains the progressives’ failures, their inconsistencies and their hysteria… Barack Obama is their last, best hope. And that hope is shrieking away.
Real reason Obama constantly lies: intellectual sociopathy aka malignant narcissistic personality disorder. In the final analysis, Obama lies because that’s how he gets his way, and getting his way is all he cares about.
Get me outta here! -- There are many reasons one might want to get the hell out of Canada. One of them is their universal health care system, reports The DC News Foundation's Michael Bastasch:
"A Canadian study released Wednesday found that many provinces in our neighbor to the north have seen patients fleeing the country and opting for medical treatment in the United States. The nonpartisan Fraser Institute reported that 46,159 Canadians sought medical treatment outside of Canada in 2011, as wait times increased 104 percent — more than double — compared with statistics from 1993."
Follow the traffic. It can tell you a lot.
As President Obama seeks to tailor his campaign message to the middle class, "Honolulu and Harvard have been replaced by his grandparents' financial struggles, his single mother and his wife's story," reports Politico.
