Republican Prospects in November: Republicans are nervous that the presidential primaries are still going on. They forget that Obama did not win enough delegates to nail down the nomination until June 3, 2008, after a 17-month-long campaign against Hillary Clinton. Not having a single candidate keeps the Democrats off guard. They don’t know who to attack. They’re itching to find out who the target is so they can shoot it to pieces. The main draw back in not having an early candidate is that campaign spending has to go to beating other Republicans. Obama is piling up the cash. For what it’s worth, the only Republican with enough money to take on Obama is Romney. The primaries are forcing Romney to become more conservative. [Hilariously, the Democrats are blaming the GOP for their abysmal money raising results, saying it’s difficult to raise money when you have more than one candidate to deal with! – JS]
The “Open Minded” Anti-Christian Media:
We have two powerful weapons the other side knows nothing about. The first is prayer to the Creator of the universe who takes a personal interest in each one of us. The second is the truth. Scripture says the truth will set us free. It works for us and it works for those blinded by their Obamessiah… but they will never hear the truth if we sit down and shut up as we have been told to do.
We cannot let the actions of a few people who go off the deep end make us back out of the fight… if indeed, that is what happened. They need our prayers as well. We are all under attack and indications are that it is going to get worse. We have no choice but to join the battle – or surrender. Somehow, I don’t think our Father in heaven would be pleased if we shrunk back from the task at hand and hid our light under a bushel.
The Rush Limbaugh Boycott Is A Miserable Failure. Ha, Ha, Ha! …Twenty-eight sponsors out of 18,000! That’s like losing a couple of french fries in the container when it’s delivered to you at the drive-thru. You don’t even notice it.… Now, you might say, “Well, whatever it is, these people are putting out statements.” Yes, they’re putting out statements because they’re hoping to make political gains — and it’s gonna backfire. You can look at the stock price of some of these companies. [Yeah! Carbonite is tanking! – JS]
Senate blocks bid to speed Keystone approval -- but Obama loses Dems despite lobbying: The Senate on Thursday blocked a move to speed along the approval and construction of the controversial Keystone pipeline, after the White House lobbied Democrats to oppose it. A total of 11 Democrats, though, ended up breaking with the president to vote for the Republican-backed amendment -- at a time when gas prices are rising and pipeline supporters are using that trend to pressure the administration to act. [Is the GOP finally learning to keep the pressure on and not be redirected? – JS]
