Dancing on the Global Fiscal Cliff: So, as we gleefully dance ever closer to the global fiscal cliff — and a crumbling cliff at that — maybe just maybe we should actually look at what is going on around us globally and locally here in the US. It’s not just finances, it’s morality, ethics, our culture — the whole ball of wax and we are coming undone quickly. As a nation, we need to fall to our knees and declare a covenant with God and fast or we will realize a reckoning few can envision. Thus endeth the lesson.

The Last Independence Day from Mac McConnell: It's been fun, America's government of the people, for the people and by the people. But it's time to move on. The supreme Court has acted supremely and our independence has been given to the government, which now has the right to tell you what to but, how much to buy and when. Now, if you think you have the right not to buy, the Supremes will simply sick the IRS on you, so you'll pay until you buy.
What's next? Hmmmm, I'm thinking the government will decide, not that you should have a retirement fund, but that you will have a retirement fund. And of course they will have full access to it.
I can't help but shudder to think who will be appointing Judges in the next four years. Yes it's been fun America. We will remember our last Independence Day, 2012
In all the years since D-Day 1945, there are three occasions when a president failed to go to the D-Day Monument that honors the soldiers killed during the Invasion. Only Three Times. The occasions were:
1. Barack Obama 2010
2. Barack Obama 2011
3. Barack Obama 2012
For the past 68 years, all presidents, except Obama, have paid tribute to the fallen soldiers killed on D-Day. This year, instead of honoring the soldiers, he made a campaign trip on Air Force 1 to California to raise funds for the upcoming election.
