Tea Party on Target! 6/13/12

Religious Freedom Rallies Bring Christians Together: God has given us this great land. He raised it up as a beacon for freedom and as a platform for the spread of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We must have the courage and faith of Joshua and Caleb to move forward and take the land by voting our convictions. If we fail to speak up and act in the face of what seems to be impossible odds we will suffer the same fate as those who w[a]ndered in the wilderness until their generation died out.
This is our time. It now falls to our generation to rekindle our passion to relearn our history and to protect our heritage of freedom. We must lift the principles of liberty from the glass case of history and enshrine them afresh and anew in our hearts.

Unionized teachers in Chicago are demanding a 30 percent pay raise. The average teacher in Chicago Public Schools—a district facing a $700 million deficit—makes $71,000 per year excluding benefits. Want to bet they get it with Obama pressure?

The first surprise was that "likability" is nowhere near determinative in presidential elections. There have been 13 races since 1952. The candidate seen as more "likable" by the public won only 7 of them. This is Fiorini's big take-home point: That personality plays, at most, a secondary role in presidential elections—and that it is much less important than factors such as incumbency, the economic environment, and policy. Substance matters.
The Use and Abuse of Drones : Well, apparently the bureaucrats at the EPA decided they wanted to usurp the Bill of Rights and the U.S. Constitution. They're using drones to spy on farmers, not because they think they're terrorists, but because they want to assert their power over everyday Americans.
"It is unclear how disarming law-abiding citizens would better protect them from the dangers and threats posed by those who would flout the law. It is at just such times that the constitutional right to self-defense is most precious and must be protected from government overreach." -- Rick Scott
Hmmm ... Marco Rubio isn’t a gun owner!
Dems beginning to panic at Obama incompetence? Must-win States beginning to look iffy!
Are we the only ones against diet-police, the only ones who thinks this is nuts, the only ones who are rabidly against nanny state dictates? First Soda, Now Milk: NYC Wants To Extend Ban to Popcorn, Milk Drinks
The [Senate] Dog That Didn't Bark > Government financing by continuing resolution is stealth Socialism! [This is a must read – important to understanding why Obama and his minions don’t want a budget!]
Reagan Would Be "Very Comfortable" With The Tea Party - Jeb Bush wouldn't ... AND Is Jeb Bush Kicking Himself For Not Running? Or is he just a whining RINO?
