Victoria Jackson: I Met Al Jazeera
On August 18, 2012 Al Jazeera (United Kingdom) came to our corner on Federal Highway where the Ft. Lauderdale Tea Party has been every weekend consecutively since Obama became President. It is the longest running Tea Party in the world…
The reporter and cameraman recognized me from Saturday Night Live and we had a friendly chat. They seemed surprised that I live here. They said they live on South Beach.
They asked me, on camera, if the Tea Party was going to disappear if Romney won. I said, “Absolutely not! We are here to stay. This is the 2nd American Revolution. We have to hold Romney’s feet to the fire, and make sure he doesn’t slip into socialism like he did in Massachusetts, I love Paul Ryan.”
They seemed pleased with the footage they’d gotten of me.
As they went about interviewing the various Tea Party members standing on the corner with signs and flags, I noticed that they were not showing our black patriots. They would angle the camera away so as not to include them. Danita (co-founder of Ft. Laud. Tea Party) noticed this also, so we confronted them.

Simple Math Think about it.
If 51% of the voters are happy with the government’s socialism and 49% are opposed, no amount of voter polls, predictions, or projections will change the inevitable.
Economic pronouncements make good sound bites; however, reality suggests the guy who gives something for nothing is not going to be replaced by the guy who takes it all away.
Armed against tragedy: Liberals are anxious to talk about workplace or school shootings when it suits their political agenda. That's why the usual suspects are observing a vow of silence regarding Wednesday's armed attack on the Family Research Council (FRC).

There are times in life when nobody but the Lord will do. America is experiencing just such a time.
Nothing better demonstrates how much danger this nation is in than the deep separation currently existing between its citizens. Basing his words upon Mark 3:25, in his famous "House Divided" speech in 1858, Abraham Lincoln admonished: "A house divided against itself cannot stand." Quite frankly, that same admonishment is needed again today because the American republic is swiftly moving toward a division every bit as great it was before the Civil War. Its ability to stand permanently is in great peril.

So defining Ryan as extreme is an interesting scare tactic -- and one that might be extended in the days to come. Here are some other positions that the committed left media consider extreme:
--If you believe in traditional marriage should be kept as the exclusive standard, you are not only extreme; you are a homophobe.
--If you believe all Americans should pay less in taxes, you are greedy and an anti-poor extremist.
--If you believe the Second Amendment gives Americans the right to buy and possess guns, you are promoting violence in an extreme way.
--If you believe the government has a duty to combat overseas terrorists without giving them constitutional protections, you are an extreme anti-human rights individual.
--If you believe abortion is the taking of a human life, you are an anti-woman extremist.
--If you support securing the nation's borders and regulating immigration, you are anti-Hispanic.
The list goes on and on…
This is now where we are in American politics. If Ryan's reform vision will harm Americans, let's hear some specifics. So far, under Obama, we have a sluggish economy, high employment and record debt. Sounds harmful to me.
But then again, I'm an extremist.

After Mitt Romney suggested that Barack Obama should take his campaign of "division, anger, and hate back to Chicago," the president wanted to clear the record about the tiny little misunderstandings caused by his campaign's claims that Romney and Ryan are serial killing slaveholders.
And so the president took time out from his busy fundraising and reputation-smearing schedule to answer tough, hard-hitting questions from a grizzled old school journalist from Entertainment Tonight.
Okay, the grizzled old school journalist was actually a ditzy blond piece of vapid eye candy who cares more about Snooki's baby bump than politics, and her hard-hitting, deeply-layered question was an eyelash-fluttering, "So...how do you respond to that?"
And the answer is: by lying through his teeth.
Because in his best "aw shucks" manner, and with Michelle sitting at his side (apparently wearing a tablecloth from an Italian restaurant), Obama said "I don't think you or anybody who's been watching the campaign would say that in any way we have tried to divide the country. We've always tried to bring the country together."
Except when he's threatening to throw bankers to the people with pitchforks, clearing the legal path for Occupy Wall Street protesters to rail against capitalism, instructing the Justice Department not to prosecute New Black Panthers who threaten white voters, declaring that Republicans are waging a "war on women," calling people of faith "bitter clingers," having his Department of Homeland Security label veterans as potential terrorists, calling fiscal conservatives "hostage takers," creating "blacks only" programs to improve schooling, and on and on.
Seriously, Barack Obama is more enthusiastic about dividing people than Leatherface was in the Texas Chainsaw Massacre. And he used power tools!
And so the 2012 election is coalescing into a clear battle between hate and ideas. Between America's future...and an America with no future whatsoever.
And importantly, a battle to elect a leader who is a better fit for the Whitehouse than he is for Entertainment Tonight.

Obama Edits Official State Department Documents to Tout Himself: Inserting himself into the biographies of past presidents on the White House website apparently wasn't enough for President Obama. His State Department is now editing its descriptions of foreign countries into yet another taxpayer-subsidized campaign commercial for the Obama Administration.
The State Department has recently ended its long-running series of Background Notes, which were analytical, objective histories of other countries. In their place, new "Fact Sheets" now tout Obama's policies and actions toward each nation. No more historical context, no recounting of complex and long-standing issues in the country. Just cut to the chase—that is, the time when the current Administration came to power.

Did Hillary Clinton turn down the opportunity to replace Joe Biden as soon as two weeks ago in a White House lunch with Valerie Jarrett? Not only did she turn Obama down, but according to Klein, Obama’s “socialistic policies” are part of the reason the presumed 2016 frontrunner wants to maintain her distance from the campaign…
In The Wall Street Journal, Senator Rob Portman (R-OH) writes about the "regulatory cliff"—all the punishing rules created by the Obama Administration that are scheduled to hit after the election.
From the dawn of the republic, no president has ever won consecutive terms while drawing less support (in both the electoral college and the popular vote) in his second bid for election than he did in the first successful campaign. In other words, presidents who win reelection manage to earn more backers, not more opponents, during their first four years in the White House. If, on the other hand, their critics multiply and the pool of admirers shrinks in response to their record of leadership, the embattled president always loses. When some significant portion of the voters who backed a president the first time now feel disillusioned and join the opposition (or stay home), and if the incumbent can’t replace these losses with comparable gains from people who rejected him four years before, it’s an indication of a failed presidency. — Michael Medved

We the People Have Met The Enemy and It Is Not They the Politicians. It’s Us!
We The People have forgotten the We and blame everything on They The Politicians. It’s hard to point our fingers at ourselves but we must. Using our own moral and ideological positions, we elect and need to take responsibility for those we put in office.
Re-examine what is right and wrong. Then take back our Republic. Get rid of the parasites who populate the political elite and their bureaucrat minions. Put in good people who know right from wrong and would rather serve than profit. Now! Or we are done!

Sometimes those who are not quite so close to a situation can see it with more clarity than those in the midst of the battle. A few days ago, I received a quote from a German newspaper published in the Czech Republic,Prager Zeitung. They have more insight into our political situation and certainly more courage than any major domestic news source. The writer said,
“The danger to America is not Barack Obama, but a citizenry capable of entrusting a man like him with the Presidency. It will be far easier to limit and undo the follies of an Obama presidency than to restore the necessary common sense and good judgment to a depraved electorate willing to have such a man for their president. The problem is much deeper and far more serious than Mr. Obama, who is a mere symptom of what ails America. Blaming the prince of the fools should not blind anyone to the vast confederacy of fools that made him their prince. The Republic can survive a Barack Obama, who is, after all, merely a fool. It is less likely to survive a multitude of fools, such as those who made him their president.”
Of course the article was right on target. Those who are trying simply to unseat Barack Hussein Obama, while the efforts are admirable, are simply missing the whole point of our current predicament. Using logic and common sense will have little impact on those who have been taught to feel aggrieved by real or imagined wrongs. Appealing to a sense of history and reverence for the founders won’t sway the products of the public indoctrination system that sees these heroes as simply dead white guys who have no relevance for today.
The point is that we have the socialist in the White House because there were enough people who wanted a socialist in the White House. There were – and still are – a host of people who want to live off of “Obama money” – that is, money he has looted from the producers in the land and money he has borrowed so the children of these same producers will have to pay it off for the rest of their lives. Arguments about unsustainable debt simply do not register with a large segment of the American voting public… they just want their stuff.
Crony Socialism Run Amok, Obama-Biden style
TheDC's Christopher Bedford reports: "In late July, John Hynansky --- a longtime friend of Vice President Joe Biden, and a major donor to Biden's campaigns as well as President Barack Obama's --- was awarded a $20 million taxpayer loan to build a foreign-car dealership in Ukraine. According to a public summary document, the loan, from the federal government's Overseas Private Investment Corporation, is for '[u]p to $20.0 million," and is designed to "expand Winner Import Ukraine’s automobile business, [and] construct and operate 'Winner Autocity,' which will have two new, state-of-the-art dealership facilities for Porsche and Land Rover/Jaguar automobiles.'"
A loan for a [non-American-built] car dealership in the Ukraine? Unless this guy is on a secret mission for the CIA in which the car dealership is cover, this seems outside the scope of the Constitution by just a little bit.

In 1999, the Islamic Center of Boca Raton received $600,000 from the Global Relief Fund for the construction of their mosque/Islamic center. In 2002, The U.S. Treasury Department, under the authority of Executive Order 13224, designated The Global Relief Foundation a terrorist organization that “has connections to, has provided support for, and has provided assistance to Osama Bin Laden, the al-Qaida Network, and other known terrorist groups.” It also appears that ICBR and some of its members gave close to $16,000 in contributions to the Global Relief Foundation.
ICBR’s first imam, Ibrahim Dremali, was a representative of the Southeastern Division of the Islamic Circle of North America (ICNA-SE), an organization that was asking its followers to give material support to groups associated with al-Qaeda. Mr. Dremali was arrested in October 2010 on immigration related charges. The imam who replaced Dremali at ICBR, Muneer Arafat was also arrested in May 2002. ICBR’s spokesman was arrested in July 2005, and one of ICBR’s founding directors, Syed Khawer Ahmad was also the creator of the official website of al-Jamiya al-Islamia, the Gaza parent organization of Hamas. ICBR member Rafiq Sabir was arrested, convicted, and sentenced to 25 years in prison for providing material in support of al-Qaeda. In a story by The Dallas Morning News published on October 19, 2010, Mr. Dremali "said that he did not know Global Relief had terrorist ties when the donation was made." (The Dallas Morning News 10/19/10).
“We have an organization that has received funding from terrorist organizations that want to destroy both the United States and Israel,” said Pastor Mark D. Boykin. “ICBR must give $600,000 to the 9/11 victims fund, otherwise folks in Boca Raton will be going to a defiled Islamic Center built with blood money,” continued Pastor Mark D. Boykin.
“There is enough evidence to warrant an investigation into this matter,” said Mr. Joe Kaufman from Americans Against Hate. “We have an institution with clear ties to terrorist organizations and before the Boca Raton center is fully operational, they must return the money to the victims of 9/11 that they received from a terrorist group,” ended Mr. Kaufman.
According to a Sun Sentinel story, leaders of ICBR are organizing and assortment of events for neighbors of the new building near the site and homes within a one-mile radius of the center will get an invitation for lunch in the coming months. The center is within a mile from Church of All Nations. “We strongly believe that members of the community must be aware of the history surrounding the building of this mosque,” continued Pastor Mark D. Boykin.

2 Ways to Run Against Barack Obama: Stewardship or Ideology

How to beat Obama couldn’t be put much more succinctly or successfully than the following 4 paragraphs. If it doesn’t do the job with your favorite liberal, move on to one who hasn’t gotten completely zombified by the progressive Kool-Aid.

There are two ways to run against Barack Obama: stewardship or ideology. You can run against his record, or you can run against his ideas.
The stewardship case is pretty straightforward: the worst recovery in U.S. history, 42 consecutive months of 8-plus percent unemployment, declining economic growth — all achieved at a price of another $5 trillion of accumulated debt.
The ideological case is also simple. Just play in toto (and therefore in context) Obama’s Roanoke riff telling small business owners: “You didn’t build that.” Real credit for your success belongs not to you — you think you did well because of your smarts and sweat? he asked mockingly — but to government that built the infrastructure without which you would have nothing.
Play it. Then ask: Is that the governing philosophy you want for this nation?
